Behind Bars

The cold, gray walls enclose you. Time stretches. Each day resembles the last: a monotonous routine punctuated by meals and patrols. Communication with the outside reality is limited. Hope becomes your constant shadow. You search for identity in this isolated existence.

If one think a wall can hide whispers, consider again. Walls, such as those other items, are capable of listening. Old legends warn people that walls have ears, and despite this may seem like a myth, the truth is quite alarming.

So, think twice about what you say near walls. It may be listening more than you realize.

The Weight of Innocence Lost
